Step 1: Open the Settings App

To add a new keyboard layout, you need to open the Settings app. You can do this by clicking on the Start menu and selecting the gear icon, or by pressing the Windows key + I on your keyboard.

Step 2: Go to Time & Language Settings

Once you have opened the Settings app, click on the "Time & Language" option.

Step 3: Add a New Keyboard Layout

Under the "Time & Language" settings, click on the "Language" tab. Here, you will see a list of languages that are currently installed on your computer. To add a new keyboard layout, click on the language you want to add and then click on the "Options" button.

In the "Language options" page, click on the "Add a keyboard" button. This will show you a list of available keyboard layouts for the language you selected. Choose the keyboard layout you want to add and click on it.

Step 4: Set the New Keyboard Layout as Default

After you have added the new keyboard layout, you can set it as the default layout. To do this, go back to the "Language" tab under "Time & Language" settings. Click on the language you just added and then click on the "Set as default" button.

Step 5: Switch Between Keyboard Layouts

Once you have added a new keyboard layout and set it as the default, you can switch between keyboard layouts by pressing the Windows key + Spacebar on your keyboard. This will cycle through all the keyboard layouts you have installed.
