There is real-time out of office flagging on approvers. 

This means that if one of the approvers is out of the office at the time the workflow is started, the workflow will NOT continue, but wait (2 days) for a response of the initiator.

  1. The below OoO request will be registered in the “History” section of the request form.
  2. the initiator will receive an email saying who is out of the office.

In this mail the initiator will be asked if he/she wants to 

  • Approve (continue) the workflow 
  • Reject (cancel) the workflow and start again with other approvers.
    You can still use the same form to request approval again if it has been rejected.
    You do not need to complete a whole new form unless you want to do so. 


An OoO request must be answered within 2 days, otherwise a system reject will occur.  

Also after a system reject, You can use the same form to request approval again with other (or the same) approvers.
