When a MO is created in M3, a lot number will be assigned to the item, delete the MO will cause the linkage to be broken in the inventory. So it is not allow/ advise to delete MO in M3.
Steps to close a MO without manufact/receive the item:
1. Check the MO status in PMS100.
- If status in 20/40/22 then you need to do the steps 2,3 & 4.
- If status in 20/40/33 then you need deallocate item first then follow the steps 2,3 & 4.
- if status in 20/90/22 then you need to do the steps 2 & 4.
- if status in 80/90/99 then you need to do step 4 only.
2. In PMS100, select the MO you need to close. Right click to Related, select Materials and Operations.
In PMS101, Select all the items right click to Related, select Flag Complete. Then go Actions and Close.
3. In PMS100, right click the MO, go Related, select Report Operations.
In PMS070, select the operation line and right click to Change.
Remove all the run time, manuf quantity and pln no workers, and tick on Op completed.
Continue this step for all operation lines, until it all change to sts 90 in PMS070. Then go Actions and Close.
4. In PMS100, select the order, right click to Related, select Report Receipt.
In PMS050, make sure the Received qty is empty and tick on Man compl flag. After that, go Actions and Close.
5. Now the MO will be close in status 90/90/99 without any received qty and manufact qty.
