Responsible person from the business -often a person from Finance Dept- opens a ticket on the helpdesk if a sales person should be created or changed, with below information:

 

- Which existing sales person code should be used or which specific new code should be created. Very often an existing sales person code is changed, so that not all customers need to be updated in CRS610 – customer master.

 

- If the BU also is using a Sales Department in CRS100, also the specific Sales Dept should be specified (see further below for the example in CRS100 from KTA).

Can also be for a vacant position or grouped like “KAE OTHER” in this example.

 

 

Some BU’s also use a Sales Dept, like in the example from KTA.

IT Support will update / create a sales person in M3 as requested and will escalate the ticket or create a new ticket for IT Tier III Enterprise Data, for tasks that are needed for Business Intelligence.
