The Batch Status Report – KANA tracks the location of a sample in the system.The Status column is able to help identify whether a lot is still with QC or QA. Further explanation of what each value in the Status column means:
Sample not received = QC has not received all samples
Sample Received not tested = QC has received all samples but have not started entering data
QA needs to release = batch status is either pending release or preliminary release
Released = QA has released
Cancelled = Batch was cancelled
Rejected = batch was rejected
Testing in progress = QC needs to finish data entry and approval or receive the retain sample
Testing completed, needs KIQC QA review = QC has approved the data but it needs final QC review
