SOLUTION:


1. Search for an application named Software Center in your Windows and launch Software Center


NOTE: Should you be working from home, ensure that that your Laptop PC is connected to Internet prior to logging in to your PC.


 


2. In the Software Center Window, highlight and double-click the Barracuda VPN Client v5.3 - UPGRADE application. 



3. Click the Install button in the next screen. 



4. After the application is completely downloaded, installing the application starts on your Laptop PC. 



5. The upgrade is completed once you see the similar screen below and the Status displays Uninstall.



6.  Do a manual REBOOT of your Laptop PC after the software  has been successfully installed. 


7. Ensure that that your Laptop PC is connected to Internet prior to logging in to your PC.




8.  To login to your Laptop PC, select the login name that shows Barracuda Direct Access and then enter your password.



9. Key-in your Username and User Password  only in the event that a similar Login window shows up below.



10. Select Yes on the certificate notification in the event you get one.



NOTE:


  • With a very good Internet connection and a good working Laptop PC, the Barracuda VPN Client upgrade can be completed in 6-8 minutes or less.


  • In the event of a working from home and you have a low speed or poor Internet connection, you can upgrade instead your Barracuda VPN Client on your Laptop PC via the Barracuda VPN Client 5.3.0 installer file. Send an email to help.desk@kemin.com or call your respective local Helpdesk for a copy of the installer or to request assistance to help you upgrade your Barracuda VPN Client to version 5.3.0. The installer will likely be sent to you via WeTransfer for you to download since the installer is a big compressed file and is 37 MB in size.
