1. Download and install the Mendeley Desktop app.https://mendeley-desktop.en.lo4d.com/download

2. Open the Desktop and login with your details

3. On the welcome screen click on "Install now" under the word plugin for Microsoft Word. NB make sure that all Microsoft Apps are closed.

4.  The install will run in the background then you should see the below.

5. You can access the Mendeley plug in from word, under the references Tab.
