ISSUE:

Reported Status THREAT detected when opening an Excel file in OneDrive for the created temporary file.

BACKGROUND:

A temporary file is a file that is created to temporarily store information in order to free memory for other purposes, or to act as a safety net to prevent data loss when a program performs certain functions. For the related issue, the file is not compromised, i.e. NOT infected by malware nor a security-risk/threat after investigation.

SOLUTION:

1.Login to SentinelOne. Link: https://usea1-012.sentinelone.net/login

2. Set the Analyst Verdict a as False Positive.

3. Set the Incident Status as Resolved.

4. If any further action is required, set Actions to Unquarantine.
