Creating Sub Labels in Prisym
A sub label is basically a label format without a schema or label stock. These are the steps on creating and attaching a sub label.
- Create a new label format.
- Give the format a name of your choosing.
- The label format window will open. You do not need to select a schema or label format.
- You can control the size of the page by toggling the width and height.
- Add the desired elements. For this demo we will insert a couple of images and some text.
- To add text, click the text button on the toolbar and create your text box.
- Add your text, any formatting you would like to use and position where you would like it on the sub label.
- To add images, click the picture button on the toolbar and create a block by dragging your cursor (like a text box) on the sub label. You will be presented with the select image window where you will browse to your image.
- Select your image, position, and size, and you have a basic sub label. Don’t forget to save your work!
- To use as an element in a label.
- Working in the label format you would like to sub label added to click the sub label button on the toolbar.
- You will create a box just like you did for the text and image above.
- Double clicking in the box will open the Select Label Format window. Browse to the sub label you just created.
- Size and position the sub label to your needs.
