This article describe steps to request access for LabVantage QC (including all environment, e.g. DEV, TEST, PROD)


Target audience: 

User, Line manager of the user access required, IT Helpdesk, LV application team

Process flow

User: If you find yourself need to access to any environment of LV, speak to your line manager and line manager will made a request to IT helpdesk if he/she approves.

Line manager: Access request should be made by line manager of that user as an approval process and an access request form (and signature file, if applicable) has to be submitted to IT Helpdesk.

Helpdesk: Access request should always come with a request form and the request should be made by the line manager of the user about to be granted access. If form is provided, the request should be then assign to application team.

Application team: Setup account according to the form and feed back to user and line manager.


License consideration (Application team only)

Before applying named license on to an account, number of named license must be checked against licenses Kemin own. If the number of license applied exceed the number of owned license, all the named license users will be logged out.

If the number of named license account is about to exceed, contact the regional QA/QC manager to check if there are licenses are able to be swapped. If no solution can be made, contact Andrew Yersin (Senior Vice President - WW Quality Quality/Assurance/ISO) for recommendation. 

If there are no named license available, the work around is use the concurrent account while the licenses are being procured.
