When the lot number is not created in MMS235 after releasing or creating an MO, the lot number can be manually added.

A. PRE-REQUISITES

1. MO created in PMS100 has Lot Number.

2. Panel E is available in PMS100 Panel sequence to be displayed and be able to copy Lot Number:

B. CREATING LOT NUMBER IN MMS235

1. In PMS100, right click on the MO then click Display:

2. Copy the lot number from Panel E. If Panel sequence is 1E, close the Panel 1/Materials and Operations to proceed to Panel E.

3. Right click on Product -> Add Text to Quicknote:

4. Right click on Lot number -> Add Text to Quicknote

5. Open MMS235,

6. Drag the Item number to search field and press Enter 

7. Drag the Lot number then click the Plus menu 

8. Click OK

9. Click the Plus menu again

10. No changes to be done in Panel E. Note that Ref order cat and Ref order no are blank; these will be filled in and lot will be linked after MO Report Receipt is done. 

11. Click Next to proceed to Panel F.

11.  Add Country of origin if blank. This can be set in MMS003.

12. Change Manuf Date to planned start date of manufacturing

13. Delete Receipt date to keep it blank.

14. Click Next to finish creating the lot in MMS235.
