By default, graphics acceleration, formerly hardware acceleration, is enabled on Google Chrome. So you will need to manually disable graphics acceleration on your browser.
- Open your browser and select Menu (the three vertical dots on the far-right side of the search bar).
- In the dropdown menu that opens, select Settings.
- Scroll down to the bottom, right hand side of the page and select System
- To disable hardware acceleration, locate Use graphics acceleration when available, then toggle the dial off.
- To enable or re-enable graphics acceleration, return to chrome://settings and toggle Use graphics acceleration when available to the “On” position. Click Relaunch to apply the change.
